Ex-Man Utd star's sarcastic six-word response to Sir Alex Ferguson calling him 'terrible professional'
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Mark Bosnich sarcastically said he was " honoured just to be mentioned" after Sir Alex Ferguson slammed him as a "terrible professional" in his autobiography.
Bosnich, who was signed twice by Ferguson, first as a teenager in the late 80s and then again in 1999 as a replacement for Peter Schmeichel, found himself third-choice behind new signing Fabien Barthez and veteran Raimond van der Gouw just a year later.
His off-pitch antics raised eyebrows and he left for Chelsea the following summer, also losing his place in the Australian national side.
Jeff Stelling discussed Bosnich's troubled second spell at Old Trafford with fellow Aussie goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer on the Football's Greatest podcast.
Quoting from Ferguson's 2013 autobiography, Stelling said: "Sir Alex Ferguson, in his book, described him as
