After Andrea Petkovic announced her retirement, the German tennis player posted a photo marking her first day out of the WTA circuit that got some funny remarks.
“First day of retirement, enjoying my sixpack while it lasts!” Petkovic captioned the photo.

Caitlin Thompson, the founder of a media company about the culture of tennis, made Petkovic laugh with her comment: “Not even noon and you’re tweeting thirst traps from the beach what a legend,” wrote Thompson as Petkovic replied with a LOL.
Fellow retired tennis player Kirsten Flipkens also reacted to the photo.
“My 1st day was exactly the same (in Ibiza). Enjoy my friend! Has been a pleasure to have you on tour,” wrote Flipkens.
