Tareva henderson bio

Born in south central Louisiana, Tareva began singing in her parents entertainment venues at the age of seven, where she not only sang in the house band of family members but opened shows for many major artists that would perform there
on a regular basis.

(Fats Domino, Jerry Lee, Willie Nelson, Merele Haggard, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn and many
others). Her father was a champion fiddler that played with Lefty Frizzell and George Jones in the 50’s. Tareva went into the studio at the age of 12 to cut her first record…….

She formed her own band in the 80’s that won contests like “GMC” True Value” Marlboro Music” and won Louisiana’s
favorite female vocalist two years where critics said “Tareva has the ability to effortless belt out R&B while showing a sultry delta country sound that’s all her own”.

Shortly after this a bigger prize awaited….being a contestant on “Star Search”
